Wizard World:Struggles of dimensions

Chapter 19

The walk towards the tower was arguably the most stressful journey solace had ever experienced, every little movement of his caused space turbulence and cracks, in Solace’s view the space of the plane was as fragile as glass, after all this was only a level 3 plane, although the plane could support one’s breakthrough to a level 3 practitioner it didn’t mean it could house a level 3 powerhouse in it especially one who hasn’t been able to fully control his powers yet.

When solace finally got into the tower he finally let out a sigh of relief, although he was still instinctively influencing space it wasn’t as bad as outside, if one compared the space outside to glass then in the wizard tower space was clay, the wizard tower was a special tool that solace had spent a lot of wealth to buy, its main function was to change the nature of space making it hard to exert destructive effects this is very helpful to wizards who had just completed their promotion and could not fully control their powers.

Solace connected with the tower and teleported himself to the study where he found Layton passed out sprawled on the floor. solace looked at his unconscious apprentice with a hint of gratitude and envy hidden in his gaze, he was sure the boy had been instrumental to his victory and whatever his apprentice had done to help also brought him advantages, solace could feel Layton’s soul mist being further purified making his spiritual power stronger and more malleable, witnessing this scene Solace sank into his thoughts for a moment before deciding and reluctantly sending a beam of light containing some inexplicable information into the unconscious Layton’s soul.

Solace sank into his favourite seat and sent an application requesting connection to the wizard net, sending news of his promotion to the wizard council and requesting the activation of the seed program for Layton.

Soon the news of solaces breakthrough went to the desk of all concerned parties, although it was just a breakthrough to a level 3 wizard and there were countless level, 3 wizards, in the wizard civilization but every 3rd level practitioner is precious after all starting from level 3 one can explore the endless void with his own body

. And in the wizard civilization all genius level 3 wizards had a chance to be selected into the wizard council, there was no doubt solace was such a genius and his entry into the wizard council was guaranteed.

.....

Sure enough soon after news of his breakthrough was known the announcement from the wizard council informing everyone of solaces admission to the wizard council was sent to the wizard net causing various discussions, every member of the wizard council without dying halfway would become a level 6 powerhouse, and level 6 powerhouses were basically at the core level of every top civilization in the void.

In a dark hall, a figure was seen sitting on a throne leisurely with a soft smile on his lips as he was reading a book filled with inexplicable and unintelligible letters, the words on the book moved and changed randomly, countless shadows gushed out of the book creating various bizarre visions, whispers of madness echoed through the room speaking of bizarre stories and secrets tempting anyone who heard it to listen further, but the figure still sat lazily on the throne ignoring these ominous scenes and continued reading with relish. Suddenly the door of the hall opened and a young woman dressed in a gorgeous flowing purple gown that complimented her figure stepped in, the young female also turned a blind eye to the inexplicable happenings that occurred in the hall and stood impatiently in front of the throne waiting for the figure to acknowledge her presence. With a sigh the figure closed the book he was reading and looked towards the woman, the figure on the throne was male with black shiny shoulder-length hair and soft facial features’, his skin white and delicate and his eyes were black like the purest black gemstones, looking into his eyes one could only see the beautiful darkness that seemed to welcome all things to sink in its beautiful embrace.

“it nice seeing you again Minerva” the figure softly said, his voice echoing softly through the room and contained a peculiar charm that would make most people who heard it unconsciously sink in its tone.

“I wish I could say the same Leylin, you should know why I am here,” Minerva said turning a blind eye to Leylin’s charm.

If an outsider could see Minerva talking to leylin like this their jaws would drop to the ground, this was mythical wizard leylin one of the strongest wizards standing at the apex of the wizard civilization, leylin the destroyer of countless civilizations whose mere name caused countless strong men to shiver in fright when the name is pronounced. It was this same leylin that Minerva was talking so calmly with.

“of course I do, but I must ask again are you sure that’s what you want, you know there is still no problem with me protecting you till you are strong enough.”

“And be stuck here like a bird trapped in a cage, I’d rather take a gamble and put my destiny in my own hands, this the path I want to take, you can’t deny my path.”

Leylin couldn’t help but have a headache looking at the stubborn Minerva, he had no idea why she wanted to pull off such a dangerous move, but he was sure if he ignored her she would find a more volatile way to achieve her goal. Closing his eyes for a moment leylin thought of various possibilities before finally sighing reluctantly and then finally standing up from his throne, walking out of the hall with Minerva following silently behind.
