Sweet Waters Throne

Chapter 112

Gandalf noticed how occupied his sister was. For nearly a week she missed the council meetings, which was so not like her. They shared no more than five minutes together, Aryan seemed busy always with something to do.

This nervousness and anxiety he shared with his new bride, Haniwa. They were inside their chambers completely naked and comfortable with one another, Haniwa’s belly had yet grown since she was just two months pregnant. Her lons ached from Gandalf’s fiercely love making, but it was a good ache – her mother told her it was good for the baby.

She could still feel his seeds inside her although the previous ones had already quickened. She wasn’t wishing for a son because she already had one inside her belly, a true born son. However, she was doing this so as to please her husband.

“You miss her?” asked Haniwa when Gandalf complained about not seeing his sister anymore.

“I do, I want to help her with whatever is going on but she... won’t let me in”

“That doesn’t sound like Aryan, you are her first priority”

Gandalf didn’t seem to believe that anymore, maybe he was in the past but not anymore. Currently, Aryan’s priority has been mating the lions, her girlfriend Olivia and whatever she was doing when she wasn’t at court.

.....

The next day early in the morning Gandalf summoned his sister inside the council. He sent his own Lord Commander of Kingsguard Tyriol to seek Lady Aryan out.

Aryan was inside her chambers sleeping between Olivia’s breasts, she seemed so peaceful laying right there like a toddler. Last night was mesmerizing for both of them, a mind blowing sex brought them back to the track and both of them were ready to keep riding this wagon to whatever it takes them.

Although Olivia still kept a secret of what she learned from Lord Balrus for fear of being exposed, yet she took Aryan to her warm bed like she always does. Also, she was the first one to wake up when there was a knock at the door. Tyriol’s hands banged the door hard as if he was going to knock it out.

They were all naked and the windows hadn’t been shut last night. The cold breeze of dawn visited their chambers and she was trembling, Aryan was still fast asleep.

Olivia slowly climbed from the bed and walked straight to the windows. She shut the curtains and closed the windows, so it turns out the fire was out too and maybe that’s the reason the room was freezing. When they were in King’s City, she had logs inside her chambers because she never allowed the fire to go out, otherwise she would freeze to death.

In Raven the summers were hot and wild, but Autumns weren’t so kind and they were as cold as the winters in Maldonia. Olivia wanted to light a fire but Tyriol kept banging the door hence she grabbed a dress from the wardrobe and put it on as first as she can.

“Who is it?” she blazed, angrily. Then she was shocked when she saw Sir Tyriol, it’s not too often Tyriol gets to wander around. He’s always by the King’s side.

“Lady Aryan is summoned by the King” he said horsely.

Olivia nodded softly, she was awestruck by Tyriol’s presence already and grew speechless. Tyriol walked away, Olivia barred the door and walked towards Aryan. “Aryan, Aryan...” she whispered in her ears softly.

A very sleepy and exhausted Aryan sighed, she yawned and continued to sleep. Mayhaps she thought it was a dream, she turned to the side and pulled up her furs to protect herself from the chilly morning weather.

Olivia started a fire using few logs, then she climbed back on bed and woke Aryan up. “The King summons you” she said. “You should wake up and get dressed”

“Mmmh...” That’s what Aryan said, she was still sleepy. “The King is my brother, I’m sure he’ll understand if I need another two hours of sleep”

“Tyriol was the one he sent to summon you, it’s must be serious”

Aryan sighed still with her eyes closed, she was wroth for being waken up when she still wanted more time to sleep. She cursed slowly, then she climbed from the bed naked and walked towards the washing room. There she cleansed her mouth with mint leaves, and summoned in servants to bring hot waters so they can bath her.

In the next twenty minutes, Aryan was inside the council chamber full dressed in silk black shirt, black trouser and a yellow cloak embroidered with a lion sigil to represent her proud house. Aryan usually wears the cloak when she is needed for crown matters, her brother was anxiously waiting for her.

When she closed the door, she started cursing “What’s the rush brother, are we under attack?” her eyes blazed with anger.

“Sit!”

The tone in Gandalf’s voice was clear and furious. It’s a sight Aryan barely sees it in him, something was going on.

Aryan chuckled softly “Is that an order?” she asked.

“Sit, sister”

Aryan pulled up a chair and sat down “Yes, Your Grace...” she made a mockery of his brother. Then instead of blazing in anger like her twin brother, she leaned on the chair and smiled. “What is it brother?”

“You sent Rush to Blackmount?”

Now that wasn’t supposed to be out in the open, somehow it had reached out to Gandalf. Aryan sighed softly again and nodded.

Gandalf raised his shoulders “Why?” he asked.

“Because I need her to find out if the dragons do exist in Blackmount, we all do”

“What happened with asking Olivia?”

“She... sent a letter to Isabella, a famous courtesan in Blackmount but she hasn’t yet received a reply. Our guesses are the letter never made it to her”

“So you sent a whore to investigate for the crown?” Gandalf raised his voice. “You gave her thirty knights wearing Squires colors and with our sigil, and servants. This is what we do now, sending whores to do our task?”

Gandalf screamed and banged the table as he vented to his sister, then he suddenly stood up and seemed so angry. Aryan tried to explain herself and the motives she had for sending Rush to Blackmount, but Gandalf wasn’t having it. He insisted the task could have been taken by a Lord or a respectable Lady of the crown.

Rush truly didn’t deserve to be treated like a noble while she wasn’t, it was a mistake yes but it was one Aryan never knew Gandalf will find out. This was supposed to be a quick tour where Rush will come back with answers and that will be it, although things turned out to be different.

“You forget that I was a constant customer in that brothel. I still have my spies sister”

“Alright, I made a mistake. I’ll fix it” Aryan stood up and she was ready to walkaway.

Gandalf stopped her, he still needed to talk. Aryan asked what do they need to talk about. Gandalf replied “Us” and shied away. He tried desperately not to look like he was desperate for his sister’s attention, but even just when he said that he looked even more desperate.

Aryan turned back “Us?” she asked. “What about us brother?”

“You are ignoring me”

“Yes I am, you are a married man now. You need to focus on your wife and the family you two will raise, you are now a man and no longer a child” there was a serious tone in Aryan’s voice.

“But that doesn’t mean I don’t need my sister, or her council. As a Hand of the King you are bound to be my side”

“As your sister I am bound to protect you. If Artemis has dragons the first thing he will do is burn us to the ground, brother I fear we have more important things to worry about than us”

“They don’t have dragons. Dragons don’t exist”

“We shall say that when Rush comes back with details, until then brother... I say we remain calm and focus more on the realm and you as King rather than us” insisted Aryan.

Then she walked to her brother and embraced him in a tight hug. Even though in the outside Gandalf may look like a hard, cruel and tough boy. He usually softens around his sister because to him that’s like his mother, the only kin left – Aryan knew that very well more than anyone else. The hug was tight and sweet, it made Olivia smile when she walked inside the council chamber.
