Chapter 65: This is a Life-threatening Problem!
Abigail stiffened, glanced at the time, it had already been over two hours, Kelly was probably losing control of Teddy.
“Sorry, I’ll head back now,” Abigail said awkwardly. She didn’t dare think Brandon Piers was easy to bully.
But she didn’t move even after speaking.
Brandon Piers furrowed his brows, Abigail offered an apologetic look. “Why don’t… you go out first?”
“Ha,” Brandon Piers chuckled, even the spring sunlight seemed dim.
But his amber eyes grew colder.
Pullan saw this, instinctively took a step back, and looked at Abigail with sympathy.
He knew that very few who offended the second young master ended up well.
But Abigail couldn’t care less about this now. She didn’t want Brandon Piers to see what she was doing, nor could she explain.
“Mmm…”
Brandon Piers stared at Abigail for three seconds, then turned to leave the room when he heard a man’s groan. His eyebrows knitted together.
“Fat bitch, how dare you…”
Bang!
There was a bang, and the man’s voice disappeared.
Brandon Piers turned to look at Abigail, who quickly hid the wine bottle behind her back and gave Brandon Piers an awkward smile.
Pullan had just witnessed the scene, his mouth twitched. This wasn’t how they expected it to go!
“Move,” Brandon Piers ordered.
Abigail still tried to play dumb but saw that Brandon Piers’s long legs had already approached her. She quickly stretched out her hand to stop him, which revealed the weapon, making her even more embarrassed.
Brandon Piers poked Abigail’s head with one finger, pushing her aside, finally seeing Clark Stone behind her.
The white bath towel wrapped around Clark had already come loose, showing his limp muscles, with red wine spilled all over him. There were symmetrical swellings on both sides of his forehead.
“Ha,” Abigail chuckled awkwardly as she watched Brandon Piers observe the unconscious Clark Stone. Then she weakly asked, “You won’t call the police, right?”
“You did this?” Brandon Piers raised an eyebrow, not exactly as he’d imagined.
“It was self-defense,” Abigail hurriedly explained, raising both hands, but sadly she still held the wine bottle. The gesture caused wine to spill directly onto her own face.
The red liquid ran down her cheeks, making her skin look even whiter and more tender.
Brandon Piers looked at Abigail’s foolish state, poked her head again with his slender index finger, “How can you be so dumb?”
Abigail felt displeased, who was to blame?
“Not happy being called dumb?” Brandon Piers looked amused at Abigail’s defiant demeanor.
“I need to go back, Teddy is still waiting for me.” Abigail threw the wine bottle to the ground and prepared to slip away.
“Aren’t you afraid I’ll call the police?”
“It was legitimate self-defense,” Abigail glared.
Brandon Piers nodded thoughtfully, deliberately eying Abigail’s figure. “Anyone who didn’t know better would think you overpowered this weakling.”
“You… ha, don’t worry, second young master. I’m not interested in weaklings.” Abigail said, sneaking a glance at Brandon before turning to run out.
But before she could leave the room, she quickly returned, scanned the surroundings, and plucked a pinhole camera from a hanging picture on the wall. This time, she truly left.
Brandon Piers’s expression changed repeatedly. Suddenly, he turned to Pullan, “She looked down on me again, didn’t she?”
Pullan, this was a death sentence!
Pullan’s face changed, “Second young master…” Think twice!
“Make sure to clean up.”
Leaving those words, Brandon Piers strolled out of the room.
Pullan looked at the disheveled Clark Stone on the floor… What did he do to deserve this!
