My CEO Husband Has Some Issues

Chapter 368: Preparing to Counterattack

A good night’s dream!

When Rong Yan woke up in the morning, Li Shengxiao had already left.

Even Li Duidui had been taken away early in the morning by the butler sent by his grandmother.

She was the only one in the mansion.

After leisurely having breakfast and brushing her teeth, Rong Yan picked out a beige Chanel-style suit from the wardrobe to change into, and found a matching hat, making sure it covered most of her face and was not easily recognizable. Only then did she check the time on her phone, change her shoes, and take a taxi to the agreed location.

Youzi Beauty Salon wasn’t far from the city center and was a private beauty salon with good prices and a strong reputation.

“Master, this is the place.”

Rong Yan paid the driver, hurriedly got out of the car, and looked up at the luxuriously decorated two-story building. She lowered her hat brim and entered the beauty salon amidst the receptionist’s welcoming greetings.

“Madam, what kind of service would you like to receive today? Do you have a preferred beautician?” the receptionist asked enthusiastically.

Rong Yan tried to keep her voice down to avoid being recognized, “Hello, I have an appointment.”

“Alright,” the receptionist took out the folder they used to record appointments and asked, “May I have your name, madam?”

“An.”

Estelle’s surname was An, with a single character Fan for her given name.

Estelle had used her own name to make the booking for Rong Yan the night before.

After all, being in the midst of controversy, using the name Rong Yan could bring unnecessary trouble.

The receptionist hadn’t met Estelle, so she didn’t think much of it; she checked the appointment list, ticked it off, and said, “Miss An, good day. Your room is number 706. The beautician you booked is already preparing. Please follow me.”

“Hmm.”

Following the receptionist’s lead, Rong Yan quickly arrived at the entrance to a private room.

“Apart from you, there’s also another lady sharing this room with you. Is that alright?” The receptionist only asked as a matter of form, of course. If they encountered a client who minded, she would suggest they pay extra for a private room.

But such people were rare.

After all, a private room costs twice as much, and unless one was a wealthy lady, most clients would not specifically request it.

Indeed.

“I don’t mind.”

“Okay.”

The receptionist helped her open the door and said softly, “I’ll rush your beautician for you, please wait a moment.”

Rong Yan had already seen the person in the room and brightly said, “There’s no need to rush, take your time, it doesn’t matter.”

Most clients usually urged them to speed up their service; this was the first time she had come across someone who told her not to rush. Yet, whatever the client said was acceptable; she wouldn’t take it seriously.

“We’ve prepared flower and fruit tea for you inside. It’s nourishing for the skin. Please enjoy the tea, and the beautician will be with you shortly.”

The receptionist gave a brief introduction and then left.

Rong Yan watched her leave and walked into the room.

A middle-aged woman wearing a bathrobe was lying on the small bed in the room. She seemed to be in her forties or fifties, and one could tell she usually took good care of herself, even though the lines on her face betrayed her true age. Fortunately, she was not someone who relied on her looks; her face was rather plump, supported by a healthy amount of flesh, giving her a robust, affluent appearance. Coupled with the sense of authority she exuded, overall, she looked pretty good.

At least much better than ‘Mr. Huang’, who had already gone bald and developed a round belly.
