Mythical Era: I Evolved Into A Stellar-Level Beast

Chapter 119 - 110: Descending upon Erica Knowles, Found You_2

Jack Clark and his companions arrived at the Inpatient Department’s reception and politely inquired, “Hello, I’d like to know which floor and room a patient named Freya Louise was admitted to last night?”

Due to the hasty departure last night, Jack hadn’t had a chance to ask these questions.

“Please, wait a moment while I check,” the young nurse nervously said, hurriedly looking up the information on her computer.

It couldn’t be helped that despite the three of them concealing their auras, they still emitted some invisible Killing Intent after killing many cultists and even Mutated Beasts during this period.

While it didn’t bother cultivators with strong spirit qi, ordinary people had a hard time enduring it.

Quickly, the nurse nervously said, “That patient is in the 6th floor, Room 07, single room.”

Jask, who was holding his helmet, thanked her politely, “Thank you.”

“You’re, you’re welcome.”

At this point, Justin Welan suddenly remembered something and asked, “By the way, is there a patient named White Veil here? Which floor and room is he in?”

“White Veil? Just a moment.”

“He’s also on the 6th floor, but his room number is 46.”

“Alright, thank you.”

Soon, the three of them arrived on the 6th floor and saw the slightly tired-looking Crystal Leinster and Mandy Leinster standing in the corridor. They both looked surprised upon seeing the trio.

“Jack Clark, Justin Welan, what brought you here?”

Justin Welan grinned cheekily, “Class Leader, you guys are injured, after all. As classmates and club members, we had to come and visit.”

Jack nodded slightly, “It seems like you’re indeed not seriously injured, Class Leader. What about Freya and Matt?”

“Matt’s fine too; he left the hospital this morning to track down information on that Blood Envoy. Mandy and 1 are here taking care of Freya.”

As they spoke, Crystal and Mandy exchanged a glance, surprise in their eyes.

Because for some reason, the moment the three men approached them, they felt a heavy oppressive feeling coming from Jack, like a terrifying Giant Beast was coming their way.

But how could that be…?

While the two women were astonished, Jack asked skeptically, “Logically, the fact that Freya killed that Blood Envoy should have been internal information. How did that person learn that the person who killed his younger brother was Freya?”

“And, you guys don’t have a set schedule for your actions, plus Freya’s Cultivation Methods can conceal her own aura and Killing Intent. How did they find you?”

Mandy whispered, “We thought about the first question after coming back. We concluded that the other party must have taken an official from Erica Knowles hostage, and that person must have a high status.”

“After all, only someone high up in the new official hierarchy would have access to our data.”

“As for the second question, that guy is very cunning. He used two Third Layer Heaven blood disciples as his life substitutes.”

“When we were chasing those two blood disciples, Freya decided to shoot the one who was about to get away, and he quickly locked onto our location.”

“Fortunately, we weren’t far away at the time, and when we heard Freya’s cry in our earpiece, we quickly rushed over.”

“However, that person was very powerful, and the three of us were no match for him.”

“At that moment, if it weren’t for the injured Freya using a secret treasure from her aunt to repel that person, and the teacher in charge arriving in the distance after receiving the distress call, the consequences would’ve been unthinkable.”

“He’s that cunning and sly,” Jack’s eyes narrowed slightly.

At this point, Justin Welan gave Marcus Lee a look, “Jack, you go check on Freya. We’ll go see how White Veil is doing. We’re all good friends, after all.”

Marcus Lee immediately agreed, grinning, “That’s right. We’ll see how White Veil is doing. That guy used to show off all the time after he arrived at Erica Knowles. He must be miserable this time.”

Jack just shook his head in disbelief at their schadenfreude.

Jack nodded slightly to Crystal and Mandy, then gently pushed open the door to the ward and entered.

He saw the girl lying quietly on the hospital bed, her hair strewn around her, her face pale and her exquisite, pretty face looking somewhat transparent in the sunlight coming from the window.

At this moment, she seemed so fragile, as if she would shatter with the slightest touch. It was the first time Jack had seen her like this.

In the past, the vivacious girl had been energetic and lively, with a touch of playfulness. When she was quietly reading, she was the picture of tranquility, and sitting together with her always made Jack feel comfortable.

But now…

Perhaps sensing someone by her bedside, Freya’s eyelids fluttered as her eyes slowly opened, revealing both surprise and happiness on her weak face.

“Jack, what are you doing here?”

The moment she saw Jack, the girl’s eyes seemed to brighten slightly.

Jack smiled gently, “I heard you were injured, so I drove over from Lester. Jamey is here too.”

A gentle expression appeared in the girl’s eyes as she softly said, “I’m fine; it’s just that my heart vessels were shaken, and my Qi Blood is a bit weak. 1 should recover after resting for a few days.”

Jack nodded, “Alright, you just focus on resting. I’ll take care of that guy.”

Although the saying goes ’killers will be killed,’ this time it involved his ‘good friend,’ and Jack wouldn’t let it go so easily since he wasn’t a saint.

“You and Class Leader need to be careful.”

Freya warned, “That person is good at hiding and might be even more powerful than he’s shown, as he could block my Thistle Blood Ring that my aunt gave me.”

She thought that Jack meant to join Crystal and the others in hunting the Blood Envoy. Jack didn’t explain, but nodded slightly, “Don’t worry; I won’t be careless.”

Jack then curiously asked, “What is that Thistle Blood Ring that could repel a Fourth Layer Heaven Mid-stage expert?”
