The Strongest Conquest System

Chapter 272: The Anglerfant!

That senior was so kind and magnanimous that he even brought him along on his hunt of the Pinkosaurus Maximusall so he could allow Azmond to catch a glimpse at what the top of the power pyramid looked like!

To say the least, the backstory he conjured up was flawless.

After a few more minutes of coaxing and depicting, Azmond ultimately managed to fool every single passenger and even the majority of the crew.

There were, of course, a few stubborn and obstinate ones, such as the Primal Beast, Manager Swanson, and a few other executives of the \'Swanson Transportation\' business.

Nevertheless, he had fooled enough people that his alibi had become exceptional!

He didn\'t mind revealing that he had killed the Pinkosaurus Maximus, but that might attract the attention of the Tribulation Transcendence Monsters if it were to spread out too far.

So in the end, Azmond held off on announcing his accolades for the time being.

At least, that would be the case until he achieved a Tribulation Transcendence Realm combat power.

Anyway, he fooled the passengers and waited for the ship to be repaired before eventually going back into the sky, along with the rest of the passengers.

Azmond had convinced them to let him on the ship using a few \'persuasion tactics\' (mind control), as he still needed to take a ride like a law-abiding citizen!

Or whatever

If he were being honest, he was becoming tired of playing the goodie tooshoos picture perfect citizen.

However, Azmond kept on telling himself that all of that would end as soon as he acquired more power. And that was a constantly augmenting aspect, as his strength increased tremendously with every day that passed!

After all, the two primordial yins he had inside him were always hard at work when it came to condensing and compressing Qi before converting it into his cultivation base.

As soon as Azmond broke through to the Middle Quantum Golden Core Formation Realm, he would begin his \'covert assassination\' of all the scummy monsters.

He would leave the relatively peaceful monsters alone. But the ones who have murdered or ra*ed for fun were already on his \'experience to reap list\'.

Azmond, Boundless, and Emu resumed their journey across the second step as they started to near a large citya city that was a few times larger than the city called \'Cogsworth\' on the first step.

|Do you see all those pretty lights!?| Boundless beamed.

She was looking out the window, amazed at everything that passed her by. Which at that moment was a giant behemoth over ten thousand meters in sizeit had large \'light bulbs\' dangling off the top of it, which was what she meant by \'lights\'.

There were a bunch of these behemoths wandering around the area, and their appearances resembled those of an elephant mixed with an anglerfish.

The only difference being that they were a light red in color and they had fur growing on every part of their bodies.

But neither their appearance nor their enormous sizes were what fascinated Boundless the most.

|Are there people living on those cute furry monsters!?| Boundless exclaimed while pulling on Azmond\'s kimono.

"..."

He took a glance at the stat sheets of the behemoths and couldn\'t help but become a little bit astounded by their descriptions.

BLING!

[Anglerfant: Tier 0: Level 233]

{[Realm: Peak Stages of Peak Soul Transformation]},

{[Stats: Strength: 85,650k

Speed: 86,260k

Defense: 92,130k

Qi: 74,840k

{[Relationship Status: Neutral]}

[Basic Information: The Anglefant is a beast, typically in the Soul Transformation Realm, that travels along the second through nineteenth floors of the Luminous Grounds in the Nightmare Council Territory. This specific species has been active for millions of years.

[It houses hundreds of thousands of monsterkin as a form of \'housing\' as one of its main purposes. The Anglefant was a new hybrid breed created by a few insane monsterkin scientists.]

[It\'s sole purpose for creation: to take one step further toward creating mobile world\'s] Accomplishment status [Failed]

[These \'world\'s\' were supposed to allow a way for the mass majority of the monsterkind to travel out past the Starry Seaboard without needing to be in the Tribulation Transcendence Realm] [Failed]

[Reason for failure: The Anglerfants died upon breaching the border between the starry seaboard and the outer rims. They were not strong enough to resist the spacial winds.]]}

"Hmm"

Azmond had learned a few things more than he thought he would from a simple scan, but that served as more than a pleasant surprise for him, so he couldn\'t complain.

\'It looks like the monsterkin were attempting to escape many years ago, based on the age of the Anglerfant species. But why? Why were they attempting to escape the \'Starry Seaboard\'?\'

No matter how much he pondered over the matter, Azmond couldn\'t fathom what could cause Tribulation Transcendence and above-realm cultivators to make such a desperate attempt to evacuate the bulk of their race off Asterion.

\'Why?? What could make them fear so much for the safety of their race?? Why are there so many unanswerable things occurring around me???\'

At every corner, a new mystery popped up, and around every corner, he realized he wasn\'t strong enough to know more than he already knew.

It would be a disheartening fact for most, but Azmond was not \'most\'. Soon enough, he would understand everything there was to know about Asterion and even the vast world beyond.

|Look, look, Azmond! Can we get one!? Pretty please!? I want to live on a giant Anglerfant!

We can even call it Angly!|

Boundless continued hounding Azmond over the benign-looking Anglerfants, aimlessly wandering around on the vast ruby-like fields below.

"Do you really want one?" He asked with a semi-serious tone.

If that\'s what she truly wished for, then he would go and \'grab\' her one of them.
