Chapter 323: 323: Baron Lawrence Cooks Personally

Chapter 323: 323: Baron Lawrence Cooks Personally

Enna didn’t even realize when she had been laid on the bed, and even less so when all her clothes had been stripped off. She whimpered like a small animal, her eyes foggy with moisture, and with a great effort, she raised her arm and hooked it around the man’s neck.

The male’s forehead was beaded with sweat, rolling down his pridefully-jutting chin, tracing a line down his Adam’s apple and long neck, drippling off vicariously from his firm chest onto the bedsheet. He was irresistibly maddeningly seductive!

Hunger tightened in her belly, every cell screaming, declaring its desire. Baron

Lawrence swallowed hard, resisting his dominant urges, his voice raspy as he asked, “May I?”

Enna’s mind was hazy. She felt like a ship in the vast sea being struck by wave after wave of violent storm. Even though her consciousness was blurred, she knew, the man in front of her was Baron Lawrence, nobody else, even in her haze, she knew it was Baron Lawrence.

She stubbornly clung onto this man at the last moment who was still asking for her consent just before the point of no return. She arched towards him.

It’s hot.

The room was not particularly warm, so why was she feeling so flushed?

Her movements undeniably signaled encouragement. Baron Lawrence took a dive, entering her warm embrace.

“Ah…” she cried out. Enna hadn’t been intimate with him in a while. Even though he had given enough foreplay, she still couldn’t bear the pain and called out.

Unfortunately, she cried out a bit too late, Baron Lawrence’s eyes had already been consumed by desire. He stifled her cries and made his move.

The lovemaking was over, the rain had ceased, the clouds dispersed.

Exhausted, Enna slipped into a deep sleep.

Baron Lawrence kissed her forehead, rose up, carried her into the bathroom, gave her a brief clean up and put her back into bed, tucking her in.

“Mmm?” Enna seemed to be having a restless sleep in her dreams. He wasn’t sure if he had disturbed her, or if she was merely having a difficult time resting. She muttered something, her brows slightly knitted, as if she was having a bad dream.

Baron Lawrence’s predatory gaze flitted across Enna, he climbed into bed next to Enna and pulled her into his arms.

The noon sunlight poured in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Enna shifted and winced at the ache in her muscles, jolting her awake. Opening her eyes, she found herself alone.

Supporting her aching body, Enna sat up. She felt fresh, clean, with not a hint of stickiness on her body.

Odd… She remembered blacking out last night. Could it be that Baron Lawrence had bathed her?

Thinking about the steamy scenes from the night before brought a blush to Enna’s cheeks.

She got up, changed into a clean set of clothes, finished her morning routine, and added a touch of powder to the hickeys on her neck before she ventured downstairs.

Downstairs, Bobby was sitting cross-legged on the couch, playing with an iPad. She sat down next to the little guy, about to ask him what had happened. But he just turned his head away and ignored her.

Just then, a man’s roar of anger came from the kitchen. “Why didn’t you say to put in the oil first?”

“Where’s the sugar, where did you put the sugar?”

“Didn’t you say we should leave it on for five minutes? Chicken, chicken, chicken, give me chicken…”

“My lord, you bought the wrong thing. What you got is duck.”

‘ Baron Lawrence’s eyebrows knitted together as he disdainfully lifted the lump of meat on the table, looking at him in annoyance, ‘Why didn’t you say that earlier!”

“I thought, my lord, you were going to make Beer Duck.”

“They both have a head and a butt, how was I supposed to know if it’s a chicken or a duck!”
