Chapter 276: A Push, A Breakthrough, A Spirit...?
Following these apathetic words, the Qi seemed to understand his intent. And for some reason, unbeknownst to the universe itself, fear consumed the non-sentient mind of the Starry Qi.
This fear forced the Qi to send everything it had at the red-eyed devil. Whether it killed the man or sped up his breakthrough, it did not matter. The only thing it knew it had to do was put its all into this endeavor.
"..."
Azmodeus felt his physical form crack and break apart as his Essence Soul and Nascent Soul started to shrivel up all the same.
After a few more seconds of inexpressively taking on the brunt force of the Starry Qi, his body eventually reached a point where it could either force a breakthrough or deteriorate and die…
Of course, Azmodeus cared not for probability; thus, he had the Qi hit him with ever greater passion. He would not allow it to back out at the most crucial step.
It was only when he felt the size of his nebula increase by another league that he immediately knew his breakthrough was there.
All he had to do was…
Push.
OOOM!
His aura exploded outward as it consumed the skies, zipping in and out of the slips in space-time.
After achieving a certain level of intensity, all at once, the awe-inspiring aura was sucked back into the body of the crimson-eyed man.
Following this roller coaster of energies, the Qi around Azmodeus\'s body ultimately dispersed, and his breakthrough was considered a success.
"With that out of the way, I can more efficiently clean up the various Quasar Lords of the Neverdye Galaxy."
Following this comment, Azmodeus summoned all of his Primordial Essence Clones. On top of that, he conjured up around 900 trillion Mirror Mirages.
It was with such a massive force that he changed the strength of their existences.
The Primordial Essence Clones became equal to 100% of his Middle Quasar Lord Realm Battle Power, whereas the Mirror Mirages possessed strength close to the Absolute Peak of the Supermassive Voider Realm.
This was all to say that Azmodeus now had a force that contained 200+ Middle-Rank Quasar Lords as well as 900+ Trillion Supermassive Voider Realm Experts!
"This amount should be sufficient for the takeover of the Eastern Expanse and the Western Expanse. Many will die, but I can just spawn in more…"
After gauging the future of the mission, Azmodeus let the Clones and Mirrages go about their objectives.
"While they do that… I guess I will check up on the Infinite World. After all, I still need to understand the true essence of being a God…"
Following this decision, he moved forward with his actions and blinked into the Infinite World.
FWIP!
When he opened his eyes once more, he found himself in an absurdly large world—a world far larger than it was before.
\'The trees are now the size of galaxies… While the sand specks are bigger than the largest of worlds…\'
Azmodeus already had his size adjusted according to the general size ratio in this world, but that didn\'t make anything seem less mystical. In fact, the world only seemed to brighten further upon reaching the size of everything else.
As Azmodeus comprehended the essence of the world, he noticed that something—or rather, someone—had popped up in the corner of his eyes.
"Hmm?" He turned his head in the direction of whatever was spying on him.
That was when he saw it…
"A Spirit? The race that was sealed by Harkath… What is one still doing alive?"
Rustle!
A spirit boy jumped out of a bush.
"H-Hey! I don\'t know who you are, but you better stay away from our village! You see this stick!? I don\'t want to show you how well I can wield this thin-"
Bang!
While trying to show off his immense skills, the spirit slapped himself across the forehead. He immediately let go of the stick and attempted to run away, only to run straight into a tree!
"Oww! Damn it! This sucks!"
The spirit lamented its lack of badassery as it got into a sitting position, staring up at the emotionless, crimson-haired man like an enemy.
The Spirit itself was a light blue in color, possessing an illusory body that appeared to be corporeal and yet wasn\'t at the same time.
He had long hair, bushy brows, and big, round eyes. If not for the fiercly aggressive look on his face, he would likely be termed a shota.
"Anyway, who are you, mister!? Are you a big bad man that has come to our village in order to steal our elements? If you are, then you can give it up right now, because I am the sworn protector of this village!"
The spirit boy spoke with his nose pointed to the sky, his demeanor all high and mighty.
"..."
Azmodeus looked down at this ridiculous boy, wondering how exactly such a creature managed to survive for so long.
"I am Azmodeus," he said after a moment of thought.
"Azmodeus…? Weird name, but alright, old dude."
With his eyes, the Spirit Boy scanned the body of God multiple times, eventually reaching a conclusion. "You\'re a weirdo, aren\'t you? I mean, you\'re clearly a human, and yet you have come to the territory of the Spirits. Yep, yep, definitely a weirdo." The boy bobbed his head up and down, seemingly acting as if he figured it all out.
"..."
Azmodeus decided it was best to simply ignore the stupid boy. Hence, he turned around and started walking in a random direction.
"Hey! Wait up for me! You can\'t just walk off into these woods under my protection! You\'re some human weirdo, so it\'s only natural that I watch over you and make sure you don\'t act up!"
The Spirit Boy caught up to the receding figure of Azmodeus, walking right next to him with a \'stern\' gaze. He seemed to be trying to frighten the far larger and stronger man, but failed in every aspect of the word.
