Chapter 214: The Supreme Elder
"Heard what, Junior Brother Mo?"
"You know! The thing!"
"What thing!? Just spit it out!"
"Of course I\'m talking about the Dao Discussion that will be set up and organized by the Grand Elders and the Supreme Elder!"
"The Supreme Elder!? That elusive figure who lives on Fallen Immortal Mountain inside the Crimson Dimension!?"
"Yes, that is the one! And today, he will-"
The chatter among the Core Disciples of the Heaven Exploding Sect could be heard from various areas of the Emonius Continent.
The Dao Discussion seemed to be the focus of everyone\'s attention.
And this was for good reason, as the Dao Discussion could be the chance that any number of disciples needed in order to breakthrough their bottlenecks!
There was no telling the level of benefits that one could acquire if they participated in such a Dao Discussion, as the insights of someone so elusive and ethereal as the Supreme Elder were invaluable.
The crimson-haired man in question was currently walking through the wide, expansive halls of the Assembly Palace.
As he walked past all his in-name disciples, he paid no heed to their gawks and stares, passing through the vast number of corridors in the Assembly.
It was only after his otherworldly figure vanished from view that the dumbfounded expressions on the disciples returned to normal. Thus, they snapped out of their stupors and rushed in the direction that their Supreme Elder was heading in.
"We must allow the Supreme Elder to bestow his knowledge upon us!"
"I am willing to sell my entire fortune in order to obtain a chance at listening to the Supreme Elder!"
"I wish the Supreme Elder would do this and that to me, with his handsome face... and those hands…"
"But you\'re a dude, brother Xiao…"
"Brother Xiao wants to have a battle of the swords again!? Does he know no restraint!?"
The Core Disciples discussed among themselves as they followed behind the Supreme Elder, all while conversing about each other\'s swords.
Even so, they eventually made it into the Main Assembly Hall.
Upon getting a good view of the lavishly decorated ornaments that adorned the opulent, golden-inlaid walls of the room that seemed to stretch on for infinity, they realized that they were the only ones standing.
"Let\'s hurry and sit down while we wait for the Grand Elders to begin the Dao Discussion." One of the newest Core Disciples whispered as he made discreet strides toward the nearest open cultivation mat.
It wasn\'t until he sat down in a cross-legged position that the rest of the newcomers followed his example and found their seats as well.
They looked on at the shining purple podium, which was where 10 Grand Elders stood in still motion, seemingly waiting for the arrival of someone.
FWIP!
A figure with eyes as red as a pool of blood and a face beyond divine materialized in the air above the podium.
His arrival caused everyone to go wide-eyed.
Seeing as most of the Core Disciples had never seen their Supreme Elder in person, and after assuming that he was some wrinkled, wizened old man, only to find out that he looked like this...
It was quite a surreal experience, to say the least.
Almost all of the female Core Disciples had a deep crimson blush form on their pristine faces as they swooned at the thought of getting a little closer to their absurdly handsome Supreme Elder.
At the same time, the ones toward the back of the room cursed those closer to the front, as they regretted ever becoming acquainted with those back-stabbing whores!
Meanwhile, Azmodeus had already fully formed his physical self, scrutinizing the tens of thousands of Core Disciples of his sect.
All in the Adamantine and Amethyst Rank… not bad… but not yet worthy to be my loot bags…
His thoughts took an interesting turn as he waited for the Grand Elders to snap out of their reverie and begin the introduction of the Dao Discussion Lecture.
It didn\'t take long for such a thing to happen, as the Grand Elders let out hearty coughs before starting to delve into the profundities of the Adamantine and Amethyst Physical Existence Ranks.
They also went on to explain how inventions theorized and created by the Supreme Elder, such as the Flight Device, could assist each of them in a wide assortment of ways.
After roughly 2 years of discussing various rudimentary topics with the Core Disciples, the Grand Elders let the Supreme Elder take the reigns.
Azmodeus stopped forth and opened up a whole new level of immersion for the disciples.
He spoke of complicated and abstruse topics, all while dumbing them down to a level that even toddlers could understand.
It was with such a well-thought-out and thorough method that even the Grand Elders gained some insight into the Dao, let alone what the far weaker Core Disciples gained.
All in all, the first ever Dao Discussion hosted by the Supreme Elder was a complete success!
However, after a total of 10 years passed since Azmodeus took his place on stage, the Dao Discussion ultimately came to a close.
"..."
Azmodeus was prepared to leave the venue via teleportation. But before he got the chance, two very familiar women got up from their cultivation mats and approached him.
"Rou Tian and Pan Nu…" He uttered their names while expecting the headache that was to come.
And just as he predicted…
"Master!" They both exclaimed in unison as they fluttered over to his stalwart figure and grabbed a hold of his arms.
Azmodeus\'s eyebrows twitched a little as he felt those four soft pillows press up against him.
"Do my disciples not have some studying to do? I gave you a fully comprehensive tablet on the Moon God Steps footwork manual, depicting how to progress from level 1 to level 14, which is where I am at. And I wonder how far you two have progressed?"
"..." "..."
Rou Tian and Pan Nu started sweating buckets after hearing what their master said.
They had only advanced from level 1 to level 7 over the span of 500 years… which was less than a twentieth of the time that their master took to achieve the same thing…
