Chapter 203: A True Monstrosity
WAAAA!
In the span of an instant, the scythe\'s edge slashed forward at a speed that exceeded anything previously displayed. And it took even less time for the scythe to reach a distance less than a hair\'s breadth of the monstrosity.
"Screetch…!!!!"
Following a screech that became increasingly unnerving, the fabric of space that surrounded the island was warped and molded into a shape capable of eliciting fear from even the strongest willed of warriors!
"..."
Azmodeus didn\'t even know how to describe the terrifying thing he saw before him, as it was a face—a face that exuded levels of terror beyond anything a mere Planet Forger Realm Existence could muster.
While in the midst of his thoughts, and before he even knew what happened, his scythe was thwarted with a slight movement made by the ethereal entity.
Then, with overwhelming force, it slashed down at a speed that transcended anything Azmodeus was capable of unleashing!
It looks like this loot bag will be a tough one…
That was the last thought he had before his existence evaporated into nothingness. After which, the area around where his body once stood simply disappeared…
The sand, the island, the ocean, the planet, the universe—even reality itself—vanished.
All that was left within the 1½ Layered Plane of Infinity was the rapidly morphing entity—an entity that possessed might far surpassing anything a Planet Forger Realm Expert was able to exhibit.
"..."
After a few seconds of the entity standing in a blank white dimension, its fluctuating body wiggled and teleported in the direction of its next target.
However, before it could move even an inch, a crimson-robed figure phased into the empty dimension and smashed into the absurdly large body of the entity.
SLASH! SLASH!
Azmodeus shot out apocalyptic attack after the next, holding back absolutely nothing in his strikes.
But regardless of how much effort he exerted, all it took was a freakish head spin and a minor fluctuation for his existence to once again evaporate.
However, he wasn\'t anywhere done with the entity!
Azmodeus left his second Primordial Checkpointer and returned to where he died at an even faster pace than before.
Grind… Keep on grinding until there is nothing left to grind…
Give me all the loot…
Azmodeus called upon his Primordial Essence Clones and Mirror Mirages, absolutely refusing to permit the escape of any loot across the Omniverse!
The clones heeded the call of the main piece of their existence, as even the other half of his main body was forced to leave his retreat and head in the direction of a 2nd Tier Double Leafed Sect called the Assassin\'s Bureau.
This Sect was where the absolute best farming spots were located!
It was only after everyone increased their farming tactics even further that Azmodeus turned his cold gaze toward the entity trying to leave the vacated dimension.
"For your treason against the concept of Loot Acquisition, no matter how many times I need to die, I will ultimately be the one to kill you."
Azmodeus\'s proclamation sounded out while he was in the process of unleashing a bloody scythe arc.
SWISH!
The arc made contact with an atom of the exponentially growing entity, and although it wasn\'t able to cause any serious damage, it was still able to make a miniscule scratch.
And for him, that was enough to see himself surpassing the monstrous entity…
Though that time would not be now, or even within the next few dozen years, it would most definitely happen. And that was all the reassurance he needed to ceaselessly return from the dead and fight without end.
...
Like the passing of the seasons, 120 years flashed past everyone in the Astral Plane.
This day not only marked Azmodeus\'s 3000th birthday, but it also stood as the day that his uphill battle with the entity finally came to a close.
He may have died billions of times over the last century, but with the advancement of his cultivation into the Early Meteor Shower Realm, he was able to overcome the insurmountable enemy!
However, it wasn\'t just his cultivation base that enabled him to surpass this extremely difficult enemy. After all, his now-Early Dwarf Star Transformation Realm Professions and Half-Step Amethyst Physical Existence Rank also had their parts to play.
Furthermore, when one included the progression of all 2,999 of his Low-Star Laws to the zenith of the 5th Level, it was no surprise that he was eventually able to overcome the mysterious entity.
It would\'ve been far easier to defeat the Entity if the last Low-Star Law had been discovered and comprehended. But unfortunately for him, the last Low-Star Law was one that hid from the general view of all living beings.
Nevertheless, that was a topic for another time, as right now, Azmodeus Crimson stood before a starry-like kneeling existence that transcended all previous notions of size limiters.
While reaching sizes that surpassed even that of a 1½ Layered Plane of Infinity, it acted as if it were above it all...
-
"..."
Azmodeus observed the entity squirm and visibly glitch out as his cold gaze honed in on the two enormous eyes emitting an unusual form of gray energy.
"Error!! Error…!! Error!!!" The Entity repeated with a maniacal terror contained within its colorful, whirlpool eyes.
"You say that over and over again… Even after a hundred years of fighting, the only things you\'ve said were \'Error\' and \'Cannot Compute\'... why is that?"
Azmodeus took slow, calculated steps toward the convulsing slug-shaped creature as he leaped up off the ground without causing even the slightest ripple. After which, he clasped onto one of the many spider wings connected to the Entity\'s back.
He followed up this action by ripping off this immeasurably long wing, and he did it as easily as pulling up a loose weed.
"Esceetch…!!!!"
It stretched with the same soul-piercing scream that Azmodeus had long since become accustomed to hearing.
