Chapter 131: The Woes Of A Man Pursuing Benefits
Furthermore, he was also able to figure out some rather interesting information pertaining to the Starry Expanse from that Dragon Statue, which also served as the Dragon Land Alliance.
It truly is too bad that such a wondrous ecosystem was shredded down to ash, but from their sacrifice, I was able to understand the intricacies of the Starry Expanse…
Of which, the most interesting tidbit was the fact that someone as strong as that Dragon Statue, otherwise known as Drugros, was considered nothing more than trash in the Starry Expanse, barely escaping his position as a slave of a dragon ruling force called the \'Dragon Horde\'.
This force possesses countless beings stronger than Drugros was, and anyone who reached the Half-Step Meteor Shower Realm was capable of using something called a \'Descender\', which was a mysterious item that would allow the user to descend to a lower plane of existence.
Following these thoughts, Azmodeus perused the rest of the information he obtained before burning it to his memory.
After which, he and the rest of the Primordial Essence Clones, along with a few million Mirror Mirage\'s made their way to the Hero Association.
…
A few minutes later, the Hero\'s Association was put on their last legs, with more than 90% of all their members dead, while the remaining few were being put through soul searches.
And after absorbing the memories of millions of Heroes, Azmodeus was able to learn about the origins of all of the Heroes in Prometheus.
Earth again… I wonder what sort of place this Earth is…
He pondered the matter of this planet that was no bigger than the size of a farm in Prometheus, as he just couldn\'t comprehend how powerful figures with various cheats like these \'Main Characters\' came from such a dilapidated planet.
But it wasn\'t even their origin that made for the weirdest thing about these Heroes…
It was instead the fact that not a single one of them was part of the same time period while living on Earth.
Some of them came from periods in time where fire was considered some form of object of reverence, while others were flying in unusual metallic saucers among the stars.
Furthermore, every single one of these Heroes has their own unique story, and from these stories, they received systems that matched what they lacked to an almost perfect degree…
But what I don\'t understand is: who was the one to give out so many systems…? And does this person or people have anything to do with my system…?
Azmodeus doubted that was the case, especially when you include the fact that he didn\'t come from this \'Earth\', but it was still a notion that lingered in his mind for a while.
Nevertheless, following the genocide of the Hero race and the assimilation of all of their systems into his own, a tremendous improvement in all aspects of his existence washed over him.
WAAAA!
After feeling his power increase by another substantial amount, he had his clones shoot in the direction of the areas of any straggler heroes that he had learned the approximate locations of through the soul searches.
"Now that all of that is out of the way, I think it\'s time to attempt the Astral Leap... But before that point, let\'s clean up the rest."
Azmodeus\'s deep and raspy voice was followed by him lifting his index finger up.
BZZZT! BZZZT!
Dark crimson energy was building up on his fingertip as he flung a few condensed masses of energy at every inch of territory that made up the Hero Alliance.
BOOOOOM! BOOOOOM!
A few explosions of indescribable magnitude reverberated as a number of mushroom clouds sprouted up from where the condensed energy balls touched base.
WAAaa…
After the radioactive energy from the mushroom clouds dissipated, a plethora of craters were left in their places—craters that had diameters of Nonillions of miles, possessing depths that seemed to stretch downward with no ends in sight…
FWIP! FWIP!
Following the apocalyptic casting of these spells, all of the immortal-like men vanished from their spots as they had new places to be before the eventual ascension into the Astral Leap.
…
A few hours later, Azmodeus had just about finished up everything he needed to do in Prometheus, as the Astral Leap was the last thing on his checklist.
Well, there was one more thing he wished to do; however, all of the people he knew in the Yellow Mellow Sect and Frontier section of Yellowcreek City had long since died due to either their insufficient lifespans or fighting in the world-wide war that was incapable of discrimination…
"Life sure has a lot of twists and turns…" He softly murmured underneath his breath.
"What was that, Azmo?" Yang Hua asked from the side, her slender arms linked with his.
"...It\'s nothing. I\'m just thinking about what could\'ve been if I did things differently," Azmodeus responded with a hand to his chin as he glanced at the four women laying on his lap.
"Other women…?" Yang Hua questioned with a darkened tone, her expression reaching a similar level of darkness.
Her grip on his arm tightened a lot, as she was clearly expecting an immediate response from the naturally flirtatious man.
"..."
Azmodeus lamented the side effects of his Traits as he looked into those scary green eyes of hers and replied, "Don\'t worry about things like that so much… Furthermore, you\'re not my wife or even lover, so-"
"I knew my husband wouldn\'t go off and cheat on me!" Yang Hua interrupted him as her complexion lightened up a bit before she rubbed her voluptuous curves on his chest. "Luvs you, Az, Az!"
After which, she snuggled up on his body before falling asleep with a peaceful look on her exquisitely beautiful face.
"..." Azmodeus couldn\'t even get out his rebukes, as that silly girl would always interrupt him.
He sighed a little before deciding to rub her silky black hair, all while thinking of the benefits he\'d obtain next...
